  26.   The GAO is a high-quality source about the financial shenanigans
  27.   of our government. They are making some reports available in
  28.   electronic format. Also, I have acquired lists of reports they
  29.   publish in non-electronic form.
  30.  
  31.   All GAO reports are free, and I am not trying to sell anything,
  32.   either. I consider those who sell gov't information to uninformed
  33.   citizens to be selling water by the river to the blind.

  35.   To get info about GAO reports, send mail to:

  39.   and say "help" in the body of the message. 
  40.   If you want a index of available files, say "send /publish/Index"
  41.   in the body of the message.

  43.   Say "end" on a seperate line if you have an expressive signature

  46.   To have a report mailed to you (for free!), call the automated
  47.   order response line of the GAO from a touch-tone phone.

  51.     To obtain copies of GAO reports or testimony, the press only may
  52.     call (202) 275-2812. Others should call GAO's Document Distribution
  53.     Center at (301) 512-6000.

  56.     released during the last 30 days, call (301) 258-4097. A recorded
  57.     menu will provide information on how to obtain these listings using
  58.     a touchtone telephone.

  60.     Please note that because Congressional recipients of GAO reports
  61.     occasionally release reports without providing prior notice to the
  62.     GAO, the above listing may not be comprehensive.
