  8. I'd like to share the following information provided by a local
  9. (USA) drug screening laboratory:

  11. Drug            Approximate Detection Time In Urine (*)

  13. Amphetamines        24 - 48 hours
  14. Barbituates        Short-Acting (i.g. secobarbital) 1 day
  15.             Long-Acting (i.g. phenobarbital) 2-3 weeks
  16. Benzodiazepines        3 Days
  17. Cannabinoids        Acute dosage of 1-2 'joints'   2-3 days
  18.             Chronic use >5 joints/day    14-18 days
  19.             Oral Ingestion (20mg)        1-5 days
  20. Cocaine            2-4 days
  21. Methadone        3 days
  22. Methaqualone        14 days
  23. Opiates            2 days
  24. Phencyclidine        8 days (overdose)
  25. Propoxyphene        6 hours to 2 days

  27. (*) Note: Detection times vary depending on analytical method used,
  28.  drug metabolism, patient's condition, fluid intake and method and
