  16.      Welcome to EGReSS! First of all, I bet yer wondering what an egress is
  17. right? An egress is nothing. Nada. Zero. Zilch.
  18.      Actually, it IS something. An egress is a synonym for exit. It was used
  19. as a joke by the founder of the Barnum and Bailey Circus, P.T. Barnum. What
  20. Barnum actually did was hang a sign that said "THIS WAY TO EGRESS ->" and
  21. suckers would go and try to find the egress, and the would end up outside.
  22. (Hence the phrase "There's a sucker born every minute!" said by, yes of
  23. course, P.T. Barnum) 
  24.      Nice story eh? OK. On to the good stuff. What THIS egress is, is yet
  25. ANOTHER textfile group. Only we're sorta different. (Depending on which way
  26. you look at it)
  27.      Basically, we just put out what we want to. First of all, we're going to
  28. put out chapters of Patrick Suskind's "Perfume." Perfume is an EXCELLENT
  29. novel. Its about this guy, and he has a really good sense of smell, and he
  30. goes around and kills virgins to steal their scent. Neat huh? 
  31.      We will probably put out music lyrics too. Old music, new music, disco
  32. music, rock music, country music, classical music, HEY! How did that country
  33. music get in there?!
