-
- *MOST OF THESE FILES REQUIRE THE CRACKER JACK PACKAGE!*
-
-
- The main purpose of this package is to release The kOS Dictionary.
- The BATch files are included to allow you to take full advantage of it.
- Place all of these files in the same directory as Cracker Jack to install.
- They are very simple to use. Just put the passwd file that you want to KracK
- in the same directory as these files and you are ready to begin. If you do
- not know what a passwd file is or how to get one, you might as well stop now.
- If you are having trouble with shadowed passwds try the C programs I threw in.
- You can type KOS to run all KracKing methods or you can run them individually.
- 1st, type GECKRACK to attempt KracKing with the GECOS fields of the passwd file.
- Then type KOSKRACK to KracK the passwd file with the kOS Dictionary, or can try
- several variations on the kOS Dictionary with AP1KRACK, LOFKRACK, and REVKRACK.
- These can take several hours to run, but can be interupted and then restarted
- by typing KOSKRACK -R to resume KracKing. If this does not get all of the
- passwords that you want, you may want to try using random passwords
- by typing KPGKRACK [####] with the number of tries you want it to make.
- You can use SINKRACK [login] to attempt high-speed KracKing on a specific user.
- You can type GECOS to create a wordlist file from a passwd file, and then
- you can type ADD2KOS GECOS.DOC (or any other wordlist file) to merge it with
- the kOS Dictionary. And, in case you are still wondering, you can type
- VUEKRACK to display the KracKed passwords and save them in kracked.doc.
- Hopefully this package will help you with your testing of system security :-)
-
- Enjoy!
