  7.                          EVALUATION LICENSE INFORMATION

  10.     This file contains license information for individual users of the
  11.     unregistered evaluation copy of the Parity Technical Analysis System,
  12.     Version 1.3.  If you intend to distribute the evaluation copy of Parity
  13.     you must meet the distribution requirements outlined below or in
  14.     VENDOR.TXT.
  15.  
  16.     Parity is distributed as Shareware.  You are permitted to evaluate the
  17.     program for 30 days.  If you continue to use the program after 30 days
  18.     you MUST register the program.  Please show your support for the
  19.     Shareware concept by registering those programs you actually use.

  24.     The Parity Technical Analysis System, Version 1.3 (Parity) is NOT a
  25.     public domain program.  It is Copyright 1991, 1992, 1993 by Paul Rickert.  
  26.     All rights are reserved.  This software and the accompanying 
  27.     documentation are protected by U.S. Copyright Laws and by International 
  28.     Treaty.  Any violation of the terms of this license or the Copyright Law 
  29.     will be prosecuted to the best of our ability.

  31.     You are hereby granted a limited license to use this software for
  32.     evaluation purposes for a period not to exceed thirty days.  If you use
  33.     this software after 30 days you must register as a licensed user and
  34.     forward payment to ParTech Software Systems.  Using this software after
  35.     the thirty day evaluation period, without registering the software, is
  36.     a violation of the terms of this license.

  38.     You may not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile,
  39.     disassemble, or otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer this program
  40.     except as provided in this agreement.  Any such unauthorized use shall
  41.     result in immediate and automatic termination of this license.

  45.                           LIMITED DISTRIBUTION LICENSE

  48.     Individuals and Company Users are granted permission to copy the
  49.     evaluation version of Parity for their own evaluation, or the eval-
  50.     uation of other individuals ONLY when the following conditions are met.

  52.     The Parity Software is defined as containing ALL the material listed in
  53.     the PACKING.LST text file.  If any of the files listed in PACKING.LST
  54.     are missing, or PACKING.LST itself is missing distribution is
  55.     forbidden.  Please contact us to obtain a complete package suitable for
  56.     distribution.

  58.     The Parity Software, including all related program, documentation and
  59.     data files, cannot be modified in any way and must be distributed as a
  60.     complete package.

  62.     No price or other compensation may be charged for the distribution of
  63.     the Parity Software other than the actual cost of mailing.  If you do
  64.     charge a price for the distribution of the Parity Software, over and
  65.     above the actual cost of mailing, you are subject to the distribution
  66.     terms outlined in VENDOR.TXT.

  68.     The Parity Software cannot be sold as part of any other package, nor
  69.     may it be included in any commercial software packaging offer without
  70.     the express written consent of ParTech Software Systems.

  72.     Under no circumstances are you allowed to distribute a registered copy
  73.     of Parity, or copy the Parity Users Manual, except as outlined in the
  74.     license which accompanies the registered version of the software.

  76.                                 LIMITED WARRANTY

  79.     The Evaluation Version of the Parity software is provided "AS IS".
  80.     ParTech Software Systems, and Paul Rickert make no warranties of any 
  81.     kind, expressed or implied.  No representation or warranties are made 
  82.     as to the completeness, accuracy, precision, functionality, safety, 
  83.     merchantability, or fitness of the Parity software or any component 
  84.     thereof.

  86.                             LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  89.     In no event will ParTech Software Systems, or Paul Rickert be liable for 
  90.     any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary 
  91.     damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, 
  92.     business profits, business interruption, or other pecuniary loss) arising out of or in connection
  93.     with your use or inability to use the software or documentation, the
  94.     breach of any express or implied warranty, or otherwise in connection
  95.     with the software or documentation which makes up the Parity Technical
  96.     Analysis System.
