  5. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions
  6. before using this software.  Unless you have a different license
  7. agreement signed by Edwin Chiu (the author), your use of this
  8. software indicates your acceptance of this license agreement
  9. and warranty.

  11. Distribution

  13. Provided that you verify that you are distributing the Shareware
  14. Version, you are hereby licensed to make as many copies of the
  15. Shareware version of this software and documentation as you wish;
  16. give exact copies of the original Shareware version to anyone;
  17. and distribute the Shareware version of the software and documentation 
  18. in its unmodified form via electronic means.  There is no charge for
  19. any of the above.

  21. You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting
  22. donations, for any such copies, however made; and from
  23. distributing the software and/or documentation with other products
  24. (commercial or otherwise) without prior written permission.

  28. Evaluation and Registration

  30. This is not free software.  You are hereby licensed to use this
  31. software for evaluation purposes without charge for a period of 14
  32. days.  If you use this software after the 14 day evaluation period
  33. a registration fee of $5 (plus shipping & handling) is required.
  34. Payments must be in US dollars drawn on a US bank, and should be 
  35. sent to Edwin Chiu, P.O. Box 4945, San Dimas, CA 91773.  When
  36. payment is received you will be sent a registered copy of the
  37. latest version of Colors.

  39. Unregistered use of Colors after the 14-day evaluation period is
  40. in violation of U.S. and international copyright laws.

  42. Registered Version

  44. One registered copy of Colors may either be used by a single
  45. person who uses the software personally on one or more computers,
  46. or installed on a single workstation used nonsimultaneously by
  47. multiple people, but not both.

  49. Governing Law

  51. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of
  52. California.

  54. Disclaimer of Warranty

  56. THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND
  57. WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY
  58. OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.  NO WARRANTY OF
  59. FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS OFFERED.

  61. The user must assume the entire risk of using the program.  ANY
  62. LIABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT
