  1. GoMoku Narabe (GOMOKU.EXE) is a Windows shareware
  2. version of an ancient Japanese game.  But it is more.  It is also
  3. an introduction to some interesting Japanese culture and 
  4. provides tools to explore a fascinating and accessible area of Mathematics.  
  5.  
  6. GoMoku Narabe is written in Visual Basic 3.0.   As such it
  7. requires that VBRUN300.DLL exists in your Windows System directory.    
  8.  
  9. I have a 'slick' install program that takes care of everything having
  10. to do with installation but for file exchanges across BBSs 
  11. it takes up too much room -- adding almost 300K to the files.  
  12. So . . . to install GoMoku Narabe, please do the following:
  13.  
  14. 1. Check that VBRUN300.DLL is in your Windows System directory.  If not,
  15.    please download a copy ( there should be a copy on the BBS from which
  16.    you downloaded GOMOKU.ZIP)
  17.  
  18. 2. Create a directory GOMOKU
  19.  
  20. 3. Copy the files GOMOKU.EXE and GOMOKU.HLP
  21.    to this new GOMOKU directory.
  22.  
  23. 4. Create a program manager icon for GOMOKU.EXE by adding it as a file
  24.    in your GAMES program manager group.
  25.  
  26. That's it.
