- Installing Organic Art
- ----------------------
-
- Before starting the installation process we recommend that you make sure that
- you have the hardware and software required to run Organic Art. You need:

- Microsoft Windows 95, Windows NT, Windows 3.1 or Windows for Workgroups 3.11.
- 8 MB RAM.
- 20MB free hard disk space.
- CD-ROM drive.
- 256 colour graphics.
-
- Note 1: Windows 3.x must be running with MSDOS 5.0 or higher, and have at
- least 20MB of swapfile space.
-
- Note 2: On Windows 3.x, only 256 colour mode is supported.
-
- The recommended specification for full enjoyment of Organic Art is:
- Pentium 75MHz or faster.
- 16MB RAM.
- SuperVGA supporting 65536 colours.
- Windows 95 or Windows NT.
-
- To Install Organic Art on your PC:
-
- Turn on your PC and start Microsoft Windows.
- Insert the Organic Art CDROM into your CDROM drive.
-
- If your PC is running Windows 95, the install program should now auto load.
- If your PC does not auto start click on the START button then click on RUN.
- Type D:\SETUP in the RUN dialogue box (if your CDROM is drive E, type
- E:\SETUP).
-
- If your PC is not running Windows 95 go to the FILE menu in the
- PROGRAM MANAGER and choose RUN. Type D:\SETUP in the RUN dialogue box (if
- your CDROM is drive E, type E:\SETUP).
-
- If the setup program needs to make any changes to your configuration files it
- will do so now. You may need to run Setup again after Windows restarts.
-
- Once the Install program is loaded you are presented with 3 options:
-
- Install: Choose this to install Organic Art.
- Help: Offers help with the installation process.
- Exit: Exit the installation process.
-
- Note: As Organic Art is a 32bit program, Windows 3.1 and Windows for
- Workgroups 3.11 users will need to install WIN32s onto their computer for
- Organic Art to work. The installation process automatically detects if WIN32S
- is present and will install / not install it accordingly. If you DO have to
- install WIN32S, run the Organic Art setup program again, after WIN32S has been
- installed.
-
- The installation process is extremely simple and will offer you the choice of
- destination directory and Windows folder. You can also choose to make Organic
- Art your default screen saver. It is recommended that you simply press Return
- to choose all default settings.
-
- IMPORTANT NOTE: If your screen saver settings are set to "None" before you
- install Organic Art, choosing to make Organic Art your default screen saver
- will NOT work. Use the following procedure to set Organic Art as your screen
- saver.
-
- Windows 95: Click the right mouse button on the desktop. A menu will appear.
- Select PROPERTIES, then choose SCREEN SAVER. Under the screen saver heading
- choose ORGANICS.
-
- Windows 3x: Go into the MAIN group and choose CONTROL PANEL. Select the
- DESKTOP icon. Under the screen saver heading choose ORGANICS.
-
-

- will appear on your desktop. This folder contains several icons:

-
- Ordering: Choose from RANDOM CYCLE (plays every scene in a random order) or
- RANDOM COMBINATIONS (plays a completely random selection of scenes).

- To make a screen inactive, highlight the screen you wish to remove then click
- on the icon with arrows pointing RIGHT. To make a screen active, highlight
