THE SIMULATIONS TYPICALLY INCLUDE RUNNING/LANDING/TAXI LIGHTS, RADIO
NAVIGATIONAL AERIALS, FLAP FAIRINGS, LEADING EDGE SLATS, TURBINES, APU EXHAUST,
AND THE USUAL DODADS. A FEW PARTS WERE RENDERED OUT OF SCALE FOR VISUAL
EFFECT.
SUGGESTED CONFIGURATION: MOUSE SETTINGS-6,6,7,2; KEYBOARD-DEFAULT; JOYSTICK-
UNTESTED.
AT FIRST SO MANY PARTS WERE USED THAT INDIVIDUAL AIRLINE INSIGNIA WERE
IMPOSSIBLE DUE TO AAF'S 182 PARTS LIMITATION. SO THE FIRST UPLOADS WERE IN
IMAGINARY "ABOVE AVERAGE AIRLINES," COLORS WITH THE SIMPLEST OF INSIGNIA.
SINCE THEN I'VE BECOME FAR MORE EFFICIENT AND NOW HAVE THE SPACE FOR MORE
INSIGNIA. ALSO EACH BACIS PLANE HAS BEEN IMPROVED A BIT SINCE BOTH THE 12/92
AND 1/93 UPLOADS
I REALISE THAT SOME INSIGNIA ARE NOT COMPLETE. FOR INSTANCE BRITISH AIRWAYS
PAINTS THE ENTIRE BOTTOM HALF NAVY BLUE. AAF (AND I) GETS BEFUDDLED BY LARGE
SLABS OF INSIGNIA ESPECIALLY ON THE BOTTOM HALF. THERE WAS A LOT OF BLEEDING
THROUGH DUE TO SOME ORIENTATION PROBLEM OR OTHER. ALSO THERE JUST ARE NOT
ENOUGH PARTS SLOTS IN AAF TO PLATE THE ENTIRE BOTTOM IN NAVY BLUE INSIGNIA. SO
A GESTURE WAS MADE WITH JUST A WIDE BLUE SPEAR. THE AER LINGUS FOKKER 50
SHARES THE SAME DEFECT BUT ON ITS TOP.
