Notes: Bristol Airport, situated in South West England is a slowly growing
airport. Currently operating from Bristol are a number of scheduled and
charter flights by Brymon, Air France, British Midland, Britannia,
Inter European, and others. Bristol is currently operating many light
aircraft types and helicopters, from the flying club and the other small
businesses based at Bristol.

ATIS - 132.40
COM - 133.90 (landing)
- 133.85 (Takeoff)
NDB - 380 'BRI'
ILS - 110.15 (Rwy 27)
- 110.20 (Rwy 09)
Although this information is provided for reference, I have also included a
Mode, so the position can be easily found.
Note: If you check up on the frequencies you may see some oddities. Let me
explain. First of all there is no ATIS at Bristol Airport, but I thought it
would be useful, and so I made the Bristol Approach Freq. 132.40 the ATIS
Freq. As far as the COM Freq's are concerned you will find that the real
Bristol Tower freq. ids 133.85, like the Takeoff Freq, but I included 133.90
so I could also have a Landing Tower Frequency.
The NDB is situated, just to the south of Rwy 09/27, but if you have an
airport diagram, you will see it for yourself. A similar situation occurs
with the ILS Freqs. You will find that the ILS is 110.15 for both runways,
but I had trouble doing this, and so I made the Rwy 09 ILS 110.20, simply add
an extra .05.
You will see that both dynamic and static scenery has been included, the
latter has been prosessed to produce night effect, and the airport lighting.
I hope you Enjoy this Bristol Area, I know it can be improved and am already
working on a combined file with Bristol and Bristol (Filton) included. I
realise that the surrounding area is VERY limited and is being rectified in
the next version.
I am looking for more airports to do, especially in the UK, but anywhere may
be attempted. If you have any suggestions at all, I can be contacted in these
places.
