I INTRODUCTION
---------------
Football Pool Keeper (FPK) Processes your office Football Pool with style.
FPK is the most versatile Football Pool processing program available. It
is fully documented, easy to understand, easy to use, simple to setup, can
be tailored, can be expanded and runs smooth and fast. It handles all
standard Pool requirements and many exciting options. It has personalized
pick sheets (many styles), confidence point system (optional), multiple
tie breakers, multiple winners (optional), preliminary result processing,
easy result reruns, personalized result reports, numerous weekly reports
to choose from and YTD player statistics reports.
It can also handle any league or sport at any level, processes multiple
Pools, has two excellent Demo's and can use any printer including
laserjets. The Data base stores Pool options, entire season schedules,
team names, players with YTD statistics, player picks, result reports and
other data. FPK comes with a NFL Schedule or you can enter any schedule
type of your own. You can also obtain all College and Pro Football
Schedules on disk from the author.
FPK is not free software, but rather, user-supported "Shareware". That
is, if you find it useful, you must register. Please see the Registration
Form for more details. This non-registered version is fully functional
and is not restricted in any way.
To print this file on your printer type one of the following at your hard
drive prompt.
COPY \FPK\README.1ST PRN <enter> (To print from Hard Drive)
COPY A:README.1ST PRN <enter> (To print from Install disk)
II FPK INSTALLATION
--------------------
You received FPK on disk (1 or 2 disks) to make a working copy you must
run the INSTALL program to uncompress the files. Please make a copy
of the Install disk/s for backup, before installing. Why not make extra

copies to give to friends so they can try FPK. The INSTALL program must
be loaded from a floppy drive A or B Prompt. You must also specify the
Hard Drive where the FPK will be installed (i.e. INSTALL C). The
following procedure assumes that the INSTALL program will be loaded from
drive A and hard drive C is the install drive. The INSTALL program will
install FPK into Directory \FPK on the specified Install hard drive.
Insert first install disk into drive A.
At your DOS prompt Type: A: <enter>
You should see the Prompt: A>
Type: INSTALL C <enter>
Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the Installation.
NOTE: If you are using the INSTALL program and this is not your first
install your current Pool #1 Data Base file (WKCU01.DAT) will not be
overwritten if it's present. This means your Pool #1 Data Base Data
will not be affected by the install.
If you distribute FPK to friends, or associates please distribute copies
of the original Distribution Disk/s rather than the individual files for
FPK. If you upload this program to a bulletin board system (BBS), please
be sure you include all the original FPK files in one compressed file
(i.e. FPK12.ZIP or FPK12.ARC).

without TSR's. Please see manual for Demo walk thru and for procedures to
setup your Pool. After starting FPK in Demo Mode #1 you SHOULD (for
