  1. BASEBALL ROOKIE CARD INDEX

  3.     Baseball Rookie Card Index is made available to the general
  4. public under the concept of Shareware.  As such, you are free to 
  5. copy it and distribute it to others provided that all accompanying
  6. files remain intact and unmodified, and that no fee is charged.
  7. The author retains ALL rights to the program.  If you find this 
  8. program useful, please consider supporting the efforts of the

  20. When the program is running, select the Print Registration option
  21. from the Main Menu.

  23. ABOUT THIS PROGRAM:
  24. ───────────────────
  25.     Baseball Rookie Card Index is a database program designed
  26. to easily find a Player's Rookie or First Issue card.  This 
  27. Index contains cards for Donruss, Donruss Rookies, Fleer, and 
  28. Fleer Update from years 1981 through 1991.  Cards for the 
  29. Update and Rookie sets for 1991 were not available when this 
  30. program was created but will be included in the registered 
  31. version.

  33.     When you register this program, additional card sets for 
  34. Leaf, Bowman, Score, Score Traded, Topps, Topps Traded, Upper
  35. Deck, and Upper Deck Extended will be included from Years 1948 
  36. through 1991.

  38. The registered version contains approximately 9500 card listings!

  40. MENU OPTIONS-SEARCH BY NAME:
  41. ────────────────────────────    
  42.     Use this option to find all Rookie and first cards issued
  43. for a particular player.  Enter a player's full last name for 
  44. an explicit search or enter fewer letters (3 letters min.) to 
  45. scan for all similar names. 
  46.  
  47.     If only one name is found, that player's cards will be 
  48. immediately displayed.  If multiple names are found, a 
  49. selection box will be displayed enabling the user to scroll 
  50. up and down the list of names.  Press the ENTER key to make a 
  51. selection and display that player's cards.

  53. MENU OPTIONS-SEARCH BY YEAR:
  54. ────────────────────────────
  55.     Use this option to find all Rookie and first cards issued 
  56. in a particular set for a given year.  Enter a year from 1981 
  57. thru 1991 (4 digits must be entered).  A selection box will 
  58. then be displayed containing the Card sets available for the 
  59. year.  Use the up and down arrow keys and press ENTER to select 
  60. a card set.

  62.     All Rookie Cards issued in that set will then be displayed 
  63. in a window which can be scrolled up and down to view the list.
