SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
286 IBM PC or better (Sorry 8086er's)
VGA Monitor
Microsoft Mouse
OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT:
SoundBlaster audio card (Supported, but not necessary.)
GAME PLAY:
NUMBER SELECTION:
After the title screen is cleared, the keno board will be displayed
in the upper left hand corner of your screen. You may select from
one to ten numbers to play for each particular game. The numbers
are selected by pointing the mouse at the number you wish to
choose, and by clicking on that number with the left mouse button.
Notice that as the numbers are selected, the payoffs are displayed
on the right side of your screen. Numbers may be de-selected by
clicking on them again.
MAKING YOUR WAGER:
After you have chosen the numbers you wish to play, make your wager
by clicking on the "BET 1 COIN" icon at the bottom of the screen.
You can insert up to 5 coins by clicking on the "BET 1 COIN" icon
five times, or to simplify matters, you can just click the
"BET 5 COINS" icon. Please note that once a wager is made it can't
be revoked.
PLAY THE GAME:
After your numbers have been chosen, and your wager has been made,
click on the "PLAY" icon at the bottom of the screen. The computer
will randomly select 20 numbers and mark them on the keno board.
A "miss" (a number you didn't pick) will cause the called number
to be changed to grey. A "hit" (a number you picked) will change
the number's color to red. Your total hits for each game are tallied
under the right corner of the keno board. If you received enough
hits to win the game, the amount of your win will be displayed when
play is final.
PLAY THE SAME #'s:
If you'd like to play the same numbers that you played in the
preceding game, click on the "PLAY SAME #'s" icon at the bottom of
the screen. Your previous numbers will then be selected, and you
can then make your wager or edit your previous numbers if you wish.
This comes in handy when playing more than just a few numbers.
QUIT:
Click on this icon, and it will do what it says... Quit.
PROBLEMS?:
If you have a SoundBlaster, but can't get SoundBlaster sound, make
sure that you have a global sound variable in your autoexec.bat
file or copy your CT-VOICE.DRV file into the same directory as
Video Keno.
