  3. These statistical programs were written by Robert G. Wegemann, a professor
  4. at the University of Houston.

  6. The programs are written so that they print out not only the answers, but
  7. also the intermediate steps.

  9. MEANSD, calculates the mean and standard deviation (and also the sum of
  10. squares and variance).

  12. CORLREG, calculates the correlation coefficient and the regression
  13. equation.

  15. TTEST, calculates the value of t in order to compare the means of two
  16. groups to see if they are statistically different.

  18. ANOVA, calculates an analysis of variance table.

  20. CHISQ, calculates the value of chi square for any 3 situations (simple chi
  21. square, the 2 x 2 contingency table, and larger contingency tables).
