  2.          WS4 - WYSIWYG CP/M Version from Sydney Microbee User Group
  3.          ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  5. This version of WordStar 4 has What You See Is What You Get and only works on 
  6. a Premium or 256TC Microbee. When you are in Document mode ( does not work in 
  7. Non-Document mode ) and type ^PB to turn on BOLD, then what you enter will 
  8. appear on the screen as actual bold. ^PB turns it off as per normal. Other 
  9. attributes that are seen on the screen are DOUBLE STRIKE, ITALICS, SUBSCRIPT, 
  10. SUPERSCRIPT and UNDERLINE by itself or in combination with others. All other 
  11. functions work as per normal.

  13. To show off all the attributes, load in Document mode the file PRINTER.TST 
  14. that comes on the original WS4 disk. All the combinations can be seen on the 
  15. screen.

  17. Included are the following files:-
  18.  
  19.                WS.COM              -    Used to start WS4
  20.                WSNEW.COM           -    The original WS.COM with
  21.                                         added and changed code.
  22.                WSVDU.COM           -    Contains font data, etc.
  23.                & WS.KEY

  25. This is NOT a working copy of WordStar 4, it is only one of the original 
  26. files modified plus others. You must own the original WordStar 4 program and 
  27. this is not available through Mbug.

  29. The above files are simply copied to a backup disk of your original WS4 disk 
  30. and type WS to start it. WSNEW.COM is actually the original WS.COM that has 
  31. been modified. If you wish to alter the program to suit your printer etc. 
  32. then run WSCHANGE (from the original WS4) and alter WSNEW.COM. The WS.COM 
  33. included here is only a small loader. You have been warned!!!!
