MAILMEN.LBR
Comments: Don Saba Sysop Sabaline
This file was pulled out of a huge library from an IBM board
IBBS (Gene Plantz) in Chicago. The file is quite well done;
however, in reviewing for posting on our system, it was found
that there are hooks in the program which look for files on
the A: drive.
I personally do not like that type of instruction, as I operate
in a hard disk envoironment. There is a default selection in
the program, however, I had difficulties using this option.
It might be easier to run the program with dBASEII and all
library files from the A: drive with dBASE on the A: drive also.
Once you have the program set up, you can explore the options.
This file is quite well done, however, seeing as it was bunched
in with many files, I have not been able to test the program
in all aspects. I spent an hour with MAILMEN, and feel that
it warrants a place on our dBASE section of our bulletin board.
This is a "Freeware" program which requests a donation. The
author lists the terms in the .doc file, and you might consider
purchasing these options if you choose to use this program
regularly. It is not often that you can have access to the
author and updates at the prices quoted.
If you are familiar with dBASE, you will find this program
to be quite easy to modify as it adheres well to good program-
ming principles.
