MENU.LBR
MENU.LBR is one of the first public domain programs released and
might be considered a classic. The file did not have any
documentation. This library might not be any where near as good
as the DBASE 2.43 utilties MENUGEN AND FILEGEN, however, was
included on this disk, as it offers possibilties with help
options and a varied approach to your problems.
In an effort not to alter the original file, I left the file
names the same, and they do not coincide 100% with the filenames
listed ie. HELP3.CMD should be renamed to HELP.CMD as shown in
the calling file MENU.CMD.
To get an idea of what the file does, type from within dBASE the
following command line [DO MENU]. The program will lead you to
the various menus. If a file not found error is found, simply
type [SET ECHO ON] before the [DO MENU] and you will notice the
proper name for the calling file.
This is rather sketchy, however, the value of this file is in the
routines, and subroutines. It is not a stand-alone file as it
comes, but an excellent file to work with.
