  1.                        LEATHER GODDESSES OF PHOBOS

  3.                   THE SOLUTION TO THE INFOCOM ADVENTURE
  4.                   *************************************

  6. The  object of this adventure is to get/collect the parts used in the making 
  7. of an Anti Leather Goddesses of Phobos machine.  As most of the problems are 
  8. related  to getting these bits and pieces,  just look up in the table  below 
  9. for the part you  are having trouble getting and then read the hint with the 
  10. same  number  on the following page.  There are also a few extra  hints  in 
  11. cluded.
  12.                1)  The White Mouse

  26. 1)   Show the painting of the cat to the mouse (found in the cell).
  27.  
  28. 2)   Put  tray (with chocolate on it) into the cage.  When you've become the
  29.      Gorilla and the scientist has left,  eat the chocolate so you can  bend
  30.      the bars.

  32. 3)   Ride  the horse  west (too long to  walk). Wear space suit  leave space
  33.      ship and when Thorbast loses his sword, give it back to him. Rescue the
  34.      maiden and folow her.
  35.  
  36. 4)   Rip sheet into strips. Tie them together. Tie the rope you have made to
  37.      the bed and hang the rope out the window.  Trent/Tiffany will fetch the
  38.      head-light for you. NOTE MOVE sod to see the circle out.

  40. 5)   Give flashlight to the salesman.  Put jar of untangling cream into  the
  41.      TEE  remover.  Rub  the new cream created onto the angle in the  throne
  42.      room.

  44. 6)   Clothes  pin on nose,  Lip Balm on lips,  Cover ears with hands,  Close
  45.      eyes.. Then kiss the frog.
  46.  
  47. 7)   Pay  the  penguins the 10 Marsmid coin (found in Visi booth on  Venus).
  48.      When you get the orphaned robot baby,  put it in the basket,  cover  it
  49.      with the blanket. At the orphanage, PUT BASKET ON STOOP and wait twice.
  50.      Enter door which is now unlocked and get the part.

  52. 8)   Pick  wife number as shown in the coded message (But reverse  the  num-
  53.      ber). Ask her to kiss your kneecaps. The directory is in the catacombs.
  54.  
  55. 9)   The  barge  going around the bend at full speed (purple button on)  the
  56.      dock on the East is closest. Drifting, the dock to the West is nearest.
  57.  
  58. 10)  At My  Kinda Dock, press  the orange button,  so the barge  drifts down
  59.      stream without you in it. 15 to 20  moves later it has drifted past the
  60.      metal machine,  so then climb down  the well  in the sultans  garden to
  61.      teleport to the barge.

  63. 11)  Use the map provided with the game package as it is accurate-except for
  64.      the  fact some passages are blocked by rubble.  To avoid the  creatures
  65.      you have to  carefully read the 3D  comic book noting refernces  to the
  66.      animals  you see in the maze.  Visit all 4 (square) rooms in the  maze.
  67.      Two are exits but the other two have very important objects in them.

  69. 12)  Raft  down  the canal to the Donald Dock.  Buy an exit  (using  your  1
  70.      Marsmid  coin you got as change from the penguins) RAKE the dust to get
  71.      the exit from the dust where it falls. Use the exit. Note You must have
  72.      all the parts to be able you to be able to complete the game.
