  5. XWP is an integrated software environment for the Osborne Executive.
  6. It presently includes a desktop, communications program (XFR), and
  7. editor (a version of VDE).  It utilizes the alternate character set
  8. OXEGE.CHR which must be loaded into alternate character set font RAM
  9. before the program will work ok.  You're advised to use a bold character
  10. set for the main character set, if you're not doing so already.

  12. The following files should be on the default drive when you enter XWP.
  13.  
  14.     XWP.COM        The main program.
  15.     XWPXFR.COM    Communications program.
  16.     XWPVDE.COM    Version of VDE editor.
  17.  
  18. Also, OXEGE.CHR must have been written to alternate font RAM using 
  19. CHARGEN or one of the pd programs for this purpose.  
  20.  
  21. XWP is menu-driven.  Use the arrow keys, and enter <RET> to select an
  22. option.  
  23.  
  24. XWP is still being developed.  I'm releasing it at this point to 
  25. gather feedback and suggestions.  Please contact me if you're using
