  1. CUT = A file splitting utility

  3. Version 1.0:  The fastest file splitting utility ever.
  4.               Maybe the smallest, too.
  5.  
  6. FAST:   Slice a 160K file into five 32K segments in
  7.         LESS THAN 1 SECOND.
  8.  
  9. SMALL:  Under 1K, a few bytes shy of 6 sectors.
  10.  
  11. Segment size is user-selected at runtime, in 16K increments
  12. (from 16K to 144K).  Files unchanged since being split can be
  13. re-combined just as fast as they were broken up.
  14.  
  15. For editting, printing, back-ups; anything that gets "clumsy"
  16. with large files -- this program CUTs them down to size.
  17.  
  18. Too good to be true?  Well, it's not perfect; and won't run on
  19. every system.  Read CUT10.DOC for complete info.
