- I have compiled this series of notes/tips relating to ZCPR3 primarily from
- messages between users on Z-Node #3 (617-965-7259) and sysop Jay Sage. Jay
- graciously provided me his message base for the effort. Messages from other
- sources may also be included occasionally to expand on certain topics.

- 1. Printing NUKEY Definitions
-
- 10/23/87... Does anybody know how to print the definitions that you
- have made in/with NuKey? I'm trying to change the timing settings and the
- NK help sez I have to M)ake a new IOP, which means I have to re-enter all
- my old definitions. The only way for me to do this is to lLDR the orig.
- IOP, hit the define key twice then start coppying by hand the definitions
- as they 'fly' off the screen - you see I have alot of then :-(
- So if any of you have a way for me to do this I would
- apprecieate it. I tried the old ^p then 'define key' twice, no go. Prints
- to screen only. (Jerry Maloney)
-
- 10/23/87... According to the NuKey help I have, it sez to set the timing
- options _AFTER_ choosing to M)ake a new IOP. What this means is that you
- have to start all over and give it your old definitions, which is hard on me
- cause I add them on the 'fly' then save the current IOP to retain them but
- haven't found a way to print the definitions out.
- I have a feeling that this works better than the other way
- [M) instead of S)] cause I _THINK_ I've noticed a difference since I had
- tried with S) two or three times. (Jerry Maloney)
-
- 10/25/87... One way I can think of to print NUKEY defitions is to load
- up your NUKEY.IOP with ZPATCH, then scan inside the file to find exactly
- where the definitions are kept. They're visible in clear, ASCII form on
- the right hand side. Then just use ZPATCH's "P)rint" option. Easy as pie.
- Are you sure this is necessarry, though? I hope you can
- stay in touch with Joe Wright on this. You know, a well-placed voice call to
- him might be the best way to deal with all of this. I'm quite sure he's
- listed in the Echelon 'Good Neighbor Helper" roster. Or try information
- in San Jose. (Rick Charnes)

- 2. NUKEY and WS4
-
- 10/25/87... In case you didn't get it, Joe Wright left you a message
- on Z-Node Central saying that in order to get NUKEY working with WS4 you
- should go into WSCHANGE (patching menu somewhere?) and make sure AHEAD is
- FF and FUNDLY is 00. (Note that this FUNDLY is NOT NUKEY's FNDLY!!!)
