  4.                               MEAL-MASTER README! FILE

  6.      1.  Print or view the MMQUICK.DOC file for instructions on how to get
  7.          started using Meal-Master.
  8.  
  9.      2.  View or print the files new610.doc, new620.doc, new621.doc, new630.doc,
  10.          and new631.doc for a list of changes made in the recent releases of
  11.          Meal-Master.
  12.  
  13.      3.  If you have been using a previous version of Meal-Master (or Meal-
  14.          Meister), with a version number less than 5.01, then your current
  15.          working disk or hard disk directory will contain the file MM.COM and
  16.          possibly the file MM.000.
  17.  
  18.          It is important that the file MM.COM NOT be present in the
  19.          drive/directory you intend to run the new version (5.01 or higher) of
  20.          Meal-Master from.  Version 5.01 and higher of Meal-Master consists of
  21.          one program file, MM.EXE.  If both the new (MM.EXE) and old (MM.COM)
  22.          files are present on the disk/directory when you type "MM" and press
  23.          return, the NEW PROGRAM WILL BE IGNORED, AND THE OLD PROGRAM WILL BE
  24.          RUN INSTEAD.  If either or both of the MM.COM or MM.000 files are
  25.          present, YOU SHOULD DELETE THEM, or move them to a another disk or
  26.          directory, before attempting to use version 5.01 or higher of Meal-
  27.          Master.

  29.      4.  You must have the file CONFIG.SYS in the root directory of your boot
  30.          disk, and it must contain the statement FILES=xx, where xx is a number
  31.          that is at least 11.  If this file is missing, does not contain the
  32.          FILES= statement, or specifies a value less than 11, Meal-Master may
  33.          not perform all functions.  See your DOS manual for more information on
  34.          the CONFIG.SYS file.

  36.      5.  The distribution disk or archive should contain the following files:
