  1.                      SUGAR AND SPICE CASHEWS

  5. 3 c. cashews    1 t. vanilla
  6. 1/4 c. butter or margarine    1/2 t. cinnamon
  7. 1 c. sugar    1/4 t. cloves
  8. 1/4 c. light corn syrup
  9.  
  10.     Melt butter.  Add sugar and corn syrup.  Microwave on high 2
  11. minutes.  Stir and cook on high 3 more minutes.  Stir once to mix
  12. in vanilla and spices.  Pour immediately over nuts.  Toss and
  13. cook on high for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Spread on
  14. waxed paper to cool.  Makes 1 quart.
