Transcription: There has been a World Series every autumn since Teddy Roosevelt was in the White House. But that 89 year run has now come to an end. Maybe we've been headed for this for a long, long time. They have headed into a baseball abyss. The owners have declared the season over. Many fans who are already fed up still find it hard to believe there will be no fall classic. Something just disappeared that's been part of my life every year.
