A massive search operation has been launched to find the remains of the more than 800 people who perished in cold Baltic waters when a ferry capsized early Wednesday.
Finnish and Swedish helicopters and ships are criss-crossing the area where the ferry Estonia capsized and sank en route to Stockholm.
But rescuers did not expect to find any more survivors in frigid, 46 F waters.
The number of people who were on board remains unclear, as does the number of survivors picked up by boats, ferries and helicopters.
An updated list from Estonian authorities raised the number on board to 1,047.
Meanwhile, Finnish authorities said the provisional death toll was 826, with 138 survivors. But Swedish police said there were 147 survivors and 58 dead.
The investigation of the cause was expected to focus on seals on the ship's bow door.
