  3. Michael Fay, the teen-ager who was caned and spent 83 days in a Singapore jail for spray-painting cars, arrived home Wednesday in Kettering, Ohio.

  5.         "I feel great," said Fay, 19.

  7.         He insists he was innocent and said shortly after his release Tuesday he was beaten and threatened into confessing.

  9.         "I was smacked in the face. My hair was pulled. I was actually pulled out of my chair by the hair. I was hit on the head with one of the officer's knuckles," Fay told Israeli radio.

  11.         Singapore denies police abused him. His sentence - four lashes with a rattan cane on his bare buttocks May 5 - sparked an international debate over caning.
