  8. License Agreement

  10. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions
  11. before using this software.  Unless you have a different license
  12. agreement signed by MAG Softwrx your use of this software 
  13. indicates your acceptance of this license agreement and warranty.

  15. Registered Version

  17. One registered copy of Timeless Time & Expense may either be used by a 
  18. single person who uses the software personally on one or more computers,
  19. or installed on a single workstation used nonsimultaneously by
  20. multiple people, but not both.
  21.  
  22. You may access the registered version of Timeless Time & Expense through 
  23. a network, provided that you have obtained individual licenses for the
  24. software covering all workstations that will access the software
  25. through the network.  For instance, if 5 different workstations
  26. will access Timeless Time & Expense on the network, each workstation 
  27. must have its own license, regardless of whether they use Timeless 
  28. Time & Expense at different times or concurrently.

  32. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of
  33. Wisconsin.

  35. Disclaimer of Warranty

  37. THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND
  38. WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY
  39. OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.  Because of the
  40. various hardware and software environments into which Timeless 
  41. Time & Expense may be put, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A 
  42. PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS OFFERED.

  44. Good data processing procedure dictates that any program be
  45. thoroughly tested with non-critical data before relying on it.
  46. The user must assume the entire risk of using the program.  ANY
  47. LIABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT
  48. REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE.

  53. Evaluation and Registration

  55. This is not free software.  Subject to the terms below, you are
  56. hereby licensed to use this software for evaluation purposes
  57. without charge for a period of 30 days.  If you use this software
  58. after the 30 day evaluation period a registration fee of $42.99 is
  59. required.  Payments must be in US dollars drawn on a US bank, and
  60. should be sent to MAG Softwrx, 2628 Stevens St, Madison WI, 53705.
  61. Credit card ordering and site license discounts are available, 
  62. as described in the section Ordering Information/Order Form (order.txt).  
  63. When payment is received you will be sent a registration number and
  64. optionally, the latest version of Timeless Time & Expense.

  66. Unregistered use of Timeless Time & Expense after the 30-day 
  67. evaluation period is in violation of U.S. and international 
  68. copyright laws.

  70. Distribution

  72. You are hereby licensed to make as many copies of the Shareware 
  73. version of this software and documentation as you wish; give 
  74. exact copies of the original Shareware version to anyone; and 
  75. distribute the Shareware version of the software and documentation 
  76. in its unmodified form via electronic means.  There is no charge for 
  77. any of the above. YOU MAY NOT DISTRIBUTE REGISTRATION NUMBERS.

  79. You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting
  80. donations, for any such copies, however made; and from
  81. distributing the software and/or documentation with other products
