  11.   Sigh, I hate it when this happens. LhA V1.20 had a dangerous bug in the
  12. compression code. It also had some other problems.
  13.  
  14.   This is the evaluation version of LhA V1.22. There are several new
  15. things in this release compared to V1.11, and only the largest changes
  16. will be outlined here. Please refer to the `Update.txt' file for detailed
  17. info about the changes.

  19.   Among the changes are:
  20.  
  21.   o The ability to list and extract/test files from multi-volume archives.
  22.     The evaluation version of LhA cannot create or update multi-volume
  23.     archives however. You can create multivolume archives from normal
  24.     archives by using the programs in the `unixutil' directory. Portable
  25.     source and Amiga executables are included.
  26.  
  27.   o You can now test, add files to and extract files from SFX archives
  28.     created by LhASFX.
  29.  
  30.   o Compression is faster (about 10% in the evaluation version, 50% in
  31.     the registered).
  32.  
  33.   o Several new options have been added.
  34.  
  35.   o Several important bugfixes.
  36.  
  37.   o 100% UNIX LHa compatibility.
  38.  
  39.   o Much improved command line parsing
  40.  
  41.   o Support for local and global environment variables.
  42.  
  43.   o Archiving of empty subdirectories.
  44.  
  45.   o ARP dependency removed. Under KS2.0 LhA uses dos.library functions
  46.     only for pattern matching. Under KS1.3 LhA uses arp.library if
  47.     present, and it's own internal functions if not. The internal
  48.     pattern matching routines only handles `*' and `?' wildcards.
