  1. To make Realm of Maiyessae into a bootable disk, do the following from the
  2. CLI (or equivalent shell):
  3.  
  4. 1) format a blank disk and name it Maiyessae
  5. 2) on the blank disk, make the following directories (you can use the 
  6.     standard command makedir or whaterv you are familiar with):
  7.     
  8.     edit_files/
  9.     s/
  10.  
  11.     (for example, type "makedir Maiyessae:edit_files")
  12.     
  13. 3) Copy the files in this archive to the new disk thusly:
  14.  
  15.         archive                       new disk
  16.     ------------------------      ---------------------
  17.     MAIYESSAE                ---> Maiyessae:
  18.     MAIYESSAE.info           ---> Maiyessae:
  19.     edit_files/maiyessae     ---> Maiyessae:edit_files/
  20.     edit_files/MAIYESSAE.ALL ---> Maiyessae:edit_files/
  21.     s/startup-sequence       ---> Maiyessae:s/
  22.  
  23.     (for example, type "copy edit_files/maiyessae Maiyessae:edit_files")
  24.  
  25. 4) Make the disk bootable by typing:
  26.  
  27.     install df0:
  28.     
  29.     Make sure you specify the drive the new disk is in (for example, if
  30.     you are making the new disk in df1:, then type "install df1:").

  32. 5) Boot the disk and play Maiyessae!
  33.  
  34. Note: Realm of Maiyessae is a one or two player game.  However, when two 
  35. players want to play, player one must always start first (by pushing 
  36. his/her fire button) then the second player can join in.  This is due to 
  37. a bug in the S.E.U.C.K. game system itself.

  39. Tip: The game is tough but the ending is definitely worth it!
