  1. The Adobe Screen Font Library

  4. The Adobe Screen Font Library consists of 33 Amiga-format disks
  5. and contains the original Macintosh PostScript bitmap screen
  6. fonts for Adobe fonts Volumes 1-199.
  7. As these disks are Amiga-formatted, you need only pop them into
  8. your floppy drive and convert Mac files into Amiga bitmaps/PPage
  9. metric files with MIfont.
  10. Essentially, the Library was created as a service for those
  11. MIfont customers who are having difficulty in obtaining Adobe
  12. font Macintosh files.
  13. Keep in mind, though: these are only BITMAP fonts. If you wish to
  14. print a file which uses these fonts to a PostScript printer, you
  15. will need their corresponding PRINTER font (Mac or IBM format; it
  16. doesn't matter).
  17. Alternately, you can simply create a PostScript file with the
  18. bitmap screen fonts and send it to an output service which
  19. already has the printer font(s).
  20. A special viewer utility, called "AdobeLibViewer" can be found in
  21. the MIdemos Area of this board. It will display, on-screen, a
  22. sample of each font in Library.

  24. As of January, 1992, the price for the complete 33-disk set is
  25. $175 US. Single disks may be ordered for $7 US each, with a 5
  26. disk minimum. See the MIOrderForm.TXT file for more ordering
