  2. WHEW!!

  4. after attaining a model of the USS ENTERPRISE... I began putting the peices
  5. together into a variaty of other federation starships...
  6.  
  7. after building about 10 of them... I went to build an animation with the
  8. reliant of that time and the enterprise and wasnt pleased with how the models
  9. looked... the shapes were right... but something was missing..
  10.  
  11. so.... after about 2 weeks of steady work, heres the new Reliant..
  12.  
  13. now with hull lights, running lights, and windows.. as well as painted areas...
  14. and I made the shape as true to the one from startrek 2 as was possible.
  15.  
  16. it looks right from any angle.. (even from behind the bridge, under the weapons
  17. pod)
  18. and its the appropriate size in meters... well, the length is anyways.. its
  19. supossed to be...                    and it is (here)
  20. length   233 m                          232 m

  22. height    64 m                           55 m

  24. so... its not to far off..

  28. this is a VIDSCAPE object..... in geo format.... and if its converted from this
  29. format, I dont know if the details will survive...
  30. for one thing... the windows are the same color as the hull... except they arnt
  31. shaded... unless your converter can keep these features, they'l dissappear..

  33. but even without the windows... the painted regeons would remain, and it should
  34. still be a convincing ship..
