LavaLamp
------------
This set of objects took me about 1 hour to fully create. It was entirely
created in Forms Editor (Yep, even the pink lava and stuff).
I decided to keep everything seperated, because I know how much of a bitch
it would be if I was to download such an object, and want to modify a part
of it.. Then have to sit around and disassemble it for no reason.
As they are, all the seperate objects will load >into place<, meaning, if
you were to load them up, they would fit in their respective places..
LavaCap goes ontop of LavaGlass, LavaGlass sits in LavaBase, LavaPlasma
floats inside LavaGlass.
A raytrace is included with this archive, showing what it looks like. Its
not a very showy picture, but, shows you basically what it looks like.
Spiffy Technical Notes:
-----------------------
You MAY want to tweek with the Filter gauge on the Attributes menu, while
working with the LavaGlass object. You have to understand that on a REAL
lavalamp, the glass itself is clear.. Then there is hot white wax that
floats around inside, surrounded by pink water.. I originally made the
LavaPlasma white, and the glass pink, but it didnt turn out too well.
Couldnt get the same effect.
By tweeking, I suggest you change the Filter gauge from 255,255,255
(Completely transparent) to a pinkish-white shade, to give the glass a
slight pink tint. Im in no position to screw with the Attributes values,
because I only have an stock 68000 machine, no accellerator or anything..
I cant go back 30 times and find the right combination of settings, so,
ill leave that up to you if youre gonna get cute with it. :)
Other than that, the obkect as it is, is fine.. Makes a fine room
decoration.
More later,
Arctangent (Douglas Michael Kasten to the rest of you..)
