  3. I am releasing the source for JAX4TH, my RESIDENT-able re-entrant proto-
  4. ANS Forth kernel for the Amiga. At one time I had some ideas about further
  5. development, but my work in putting ANS Forth onto Vesta Technology single
  6. board computer products has satisfied all my Forth libido for some time
  7. to come!

  9. Therefore I offer this source for public perusal while asserting copyright
  10. in order that others may use it as an early guideline for coding ANS Forth
  11. systems. I hope they grasp the strengths of JAX4TH while avoiding the
  12. weaknesses. JAX4TH has some huge flaws, which I have corrected in the
  13. commercial single board computer product Vesta Forth Standard Edition.
  14. I meant to correct them here also, but Ars Longa, Vita Brevis.

  16. The author apologizes for the naivete' which led him to spend spare
  17. hours for more than two years to construct this intriguing system, and
  18. then to pass it on to the world without really quite perfecting it. I
  19. trust that other Forth programmers are adequate to rise to the challenge.
  20. I would most enjoy being the "patron" of yet another release of JAX4TH
  21. tuned by other members of the fraternity/sorority of Forth. Please contact
  22. the author by email, or at the address below, if you have improved JAX4TH
  23. and wish to collaborate on another release.
