  1. Dear user of the dvi2xx driver for the ibm3812 and the lj-family!
  2. The new release (0.49) features in the following points:

  6.    *  Support of landscape printing:

  8.       A new command-line option -l was added to support
  9.       landscape printing on the IBM 3812 and on various 
  10.       LaserJet printers such as 
  11.  
  12.         o    Laserjet IIP
  13.     o    Laserjet 2000
  14.     o    LaserJet III
  15.  
  16.    *  Small bug fixes for IBM 3812 and LaserJet mode and
  17.       improved compatibility (the driver runs now under MS/DOS,
  18.       HP/UX, Ultrix Risc, AIX and OS/2)
  19.  
  20.    *  8-bit clean (256 character font files)
  21.  
  22. The new distribution may be obtained 
  23.    -  via anonymous ftp from nestroy.wu-wien.ac.at:pub/src/Typeset/dvi2xx
  24.       (source and msdos .exe-files, os2 .exe files, binaries for DecStations
  25.       under ultrix 4.1, rs6000 under aix 3.1 and hp9000/835 under hpux 7.0 
  26.    -  from Simtel20 (soon); at least pc-binaries and sources
  27.    -  via sending a short note indicating wether you want to receive the new
  28.       distribution (source and/or PC-binaries).
