  4. This image is Copyright © 1991 by Udo Schuermann.  It may not be used
  5. in a commercial venture without express written permission from the
  6. author (Udo Schuermann).  The image may not be sold for profit or
  7. distributed along with other material that is sold for profit. 
  8.     Express permission is given to Fred Fish, all public internet
  9. ftp sites, and electronic bulletin board systems to carry this image,
  10. provided that it is not separated from this .Readme file.

  14. This "alien" chessboard scene was created on an accellerated Amiga
  15. computer and rendered in 2.75 hours in 352x470 HAM resolution using
  16. 12-bit color.

  18. I would like to extend my thanks to the author of the chess pieces
  19. that were obtained from DECWRL and converted from the OFF format and
  20. uploaded to the ab20.larc.nasa.gov ftp site.
