  1. This is version 1.1 of the Make utility (BMake) for the Amiga.  It is
  2. recent as of June 16, 1991.  For information regarding an updated version,
  3. if it exists, please contact the author by electronic mail, telephone or
  4. through the postal service in that order of priority.  Details of how to
  5. contact the me can be found in the README file associated with the
  6. distribution.

  8. If you choose to make use of this software or distribute this software to
  9. other users, please read the GNU General Public License which is enclosed
  10. with the distribution as the file called COPYING.

  12. If you did not receive this software from the author by magnetic media or
  13. direct transmission, then please take the time to register your version
  14. with the author so that updates will continue to be offered in the future.
  15. A lack of response will indicate that the product does not deserve further
  16. attention and the software will be orphaned; a strong response will demand
  17. rapid improvements in future upgrades of the product.

  19. To register simply send a letter or postcard with your name (and company,
  20. if they are using the product), address, and telephone number, along with
  21. the name and version number of the product you are registering.

  23. If you are already registered or if you are presently registering, you may
  24. receive an upgrade direct from the author by sending a money order in the
  25. amount of CDN$20.00 (TWENTY CANADIAN DOLLARS) payable to the author, Ben
  26. Eng, to the address given in the README file, along with a letter
  27. requesting an upgrade (please, mention the name of the product).  The
  28. latest release of the requested product will be promptly sent out to you,
  29. or at your request a later release will be mailed to you when it is
  30. available (ie.  if you are waiting for a feature to be added).  The price
  31. covers the cost of the media and shipping.

  33. Printed documentation is not offered at this time, but if there is
  34. sufficient demand in the future, a decent printed manual will be written.
  35. Online hypertext (hypermedia) documentation will be worked on for future
  36. products offered by the author.  Look for more neat things from Jet Penguin
  37. Lavatories in the coming months.
