MIDImeter Version 1.0
written by Antonello Biancalana, ProMIND in February 1991
This program will read any MIDI event (on any channel) and display the
corresponding bar on the screen just like a Graphic Equalizer.
MIDImeter process all the "note on" and "note off" messages sent on any
MIDI channel, then it'll check for the key velocity data and draw the
appropriate bar on the screen.
The bar height depends by the velocity data, so much strong is the velocity
and much higher bar will be.
The colors used for the bars are from green to yellow to red.
Of course, green means weak velocity and red strong velovity.
To enjoy this program, you should connect your Amiga to a sequencer or
simply a MIDI keyboard (or any other MIDI device) and just look at the
screen, and you should also have a velocity sensitive keyboard.
The program runs both on NTSC or PAL Amigas, and sets the screen in the
appropriate way.
Press Esc to quit MIDImeter at any time.
Bugs: None known.
I've tested the program on my Amiga 3000 and i've used one of my
favourite beasts to test it (Yamaha SY77).
However if a bug occour, let me know. Thanks.
