  1. Here's a module I ripped out of a CryptoBurners demo.

  3. It's some of the best *tracker music I've heard, IMHO.  Unfortunately, the
  4. demo itself didn't run too well on my ECS equipped A500, no matter what
  5. settings I used.  Too bad, it looked good.  Nevertheless, I was impressed
  6. enough with the music to rip it out of the demo.

  8. For those interested, I used Mon 1.24 by Timo Rossi to do the ripping,since
  9. none of the rippers I have worked on it.  CRB had the samples spread all
  10. over chip RAM.  So I used breakpoints and memory hunting and copying and so
  11. forth to put everything into place and save it.

  13. Note:  This song won't sound right when played with Med or Medplayer
  14. up to V 2.13 (the latest I currently have).  There is a bug in the
  15. play routine's Portamento command ($03).  According to the docs for
  16. NoiseTracker and Med, when a portamento (tone slide) command with a data
  17. byte (portamento speed) of $00 is encountered, the player is supposed to
  18. use the previousely set portamento speed.  Instead, Med overwrites the
  19. previous portamento speed with $00.  :-)  So, if you want to hear it as it
  20. should sound, use NoiseTracker, Compositive, or Intuitracker (crash!), or
  21. my CLI based *Tracker player when I finish it :-).
