AppIcon isn't the most creative name for this program, but it is meant to demonstrate a use for the new AppIcon under 2.0. What AppIcon does is it opens an icon on the workbench, with the image contained in the file printicon.info. Whenever an icon is dropped on the opened icon that file will be printed, or more specifically, copied to prt:.
NOTE: be careful. If the file is not ASCII text you will get garbage printed. However, it works fine for file from standard text editors and README files.
To exit the program just double click on the icon.
I would greatly appreciate getting feedback on the program. I am just beginning to learn how to program the Amiga and would like comments on tips and techniques. The program was build around the lattice file control libraries because the dos.library isn't documented (to my complete surprise) in the RKM Libs and Devices.
