Have you even needed to be able to change the colors of a screen
in no time ?? (Some programs opens screens in dreadful colors). If you
have, then you could use ColorCatch. ColorCatch lets you grab the colors
(all 32) from the frontmost screen and save them to disk as an executable
file, which, when it is run, puts the colors back onto the frontmost
screen.
When you start ColorCatch it open a window with 3 gadgets:
a: a gadget named 'Catch color from frontmost screen' which grabs
32 color from the ViewPort belonging the the frontmost screen.
b: A string gadget named 'Save as..' in which you can write the name
of the executable file to create. You save the file by pressing
RETURN while this gadget is active. Suppose you have grabbed some
colors and saved them in a file named 'FunnyColors', Typing
'FunnyColors' from CLI will install the colors you grabbed. If
you have saved the file with an icon, you can also install the
pattern from the WorkBench.
c: A gadget named either 'Save WITH icon' or 'Save WITHOUT icon' which
indicates whether or not an icon should be created the next time
you save an executable file. Clicking on this gadget will reverse
its state.
