- The DL command is used to download files from the system. Before downloading,
- you must select a download directory via the CD command. Next, choose a
- file by name from the list of available files. You can get such a listing
- through the LIST command. Once you have selected a directory and a file,
- enter DL at the main menu. You will be asked for the name of the file you
- wish to download. If it is found and you have sufficient download credits,
- you will be asked whether you wish to continue. Hit Y for Yes and enter your
- terminal's download mode. You can abort the transfer by hitting CTRL-X. In
- addition, note that you must have selected a file transfer protocol in your
- terminal configuration.
-
- As an optional shortcut, you can enter your command in the format:
- DL <filename>
- Where <filename> is the name of the file you want to download.
