  1. Soft-Span BBS's main menu contains many commands through which users access
  2. the system.  In addition to the commands listed on the main menu (called
  3. PRIMARY commands), there are alternative names for most of the commands.
  4. For instance, someone may enter SEND USER to send mail to the user named
  5. "USER", which is equivalent to the command MAIL USER.  For a full listing
  6. of commands and their aliases, enter ALIAS at the main menu.  The primary
  7. command will be displayed, then a colon, then its aliases, separated by blank
  8. spaces.  To view only the aliases for a particular primary command, enter
  9. ALIAS <primary>, where <primary> is the primary command.  If you know the
  10. name of an alias and wish to find its primary command, enter ALIAS <alias>,
  11. where <alias> is the command name you know.
