Manual Font README file
This is a fairly large font that represents, to the best of my artistic
abilities, the hand alphabet used by the deaf. This is not to be confused
with American Sign Language (ASL) which represents whole words or phrases
with hand gestures. You can find the complete manual alphabet in the
American Heritage Dictionary. This font is modelled after the table that
appears there.
I have included a script to install this font in the fonts directory
for your convenience.
I welcome all suggestions from anyone who may feel that certain symbols
need clarification (i.e. refinement), or from any hearing impaired Amiga
users that are more familiar with the alphabet.
Also, since the construction of this alphabet has taken up some of my
spare time, I would like to ask for a small "SHAREFONTS" fee of $5.00 if
some of you find this font useful. However, if the font will be used for
instructing deaf people, don't sweat the "SHAREFONTS" fee.
The address for sending any fees is.....
