  2.                             AMIGA IFSOUT Version 1.4

  4.                        An Iterated Function System Viewer
  5.  
  6. IFSOUT graphically displays iterated function systems and allows the 
  7. user to interactively create the affine functions that define such
  8. systems.  An IFS can represent complex pictures very compactly.  Simple
  9. IFSs can describe an infinite number of different and interesting fractal
  10. displays.  Some of these pictures are remenicent of plants, ferns,
  11. bushes, trees, snails, shells, sunsets and other natural objects, plus
  12. a number of other interesting patterns. Included with the program are a 
  13. number of displays that the author and others have discovered.  These are in
  14. a directory named coors.
  15.  
  16. To get your own copy:
  17.  
  18. 1.  Do an unshar on these submissions (2) or copy them to a file and run sh
  19.     against them.
  20.  
  21. 2.  You will end up with two .zuua* files.  Concatenate them with join or cat.
  22.     (i.e. cat ifsbin.zuua* > ifsbin.zuu)
  23.  
  24. 3.  Run uudecode against the concatenated file from previous step.  
  25.     (i.e. uudecode ifsbin.zuu)
  26.  
  27. 4.  You will end up with a .zoo file.  Find a directory with at least 200k of
  28.     storage (170k for binaries only).  Cd to that directory. It would be 
  29.     ideal if it is a root directory.
  30.  
  31. 5.  Extract the files with Zoo.  Use the x.// option to get it to create the
  32.     needed directories.  (e.g.  zoo -x.// ifssrc.zoo)

  34. 6.  PLEASE READ THE ifsout.doc FILE FOR COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS.
