  5. This is a program that uses iff.library (included) to display and print
  6. pictures. It supports HAM and OVERSCAN pictures as well as regular
  7. pictures. Iff.library must be installed in your libs: directory for this
  8. program to work.

  10. SYNTAX: ShoPict <iff picture file>      (from the CLI)
  11.  
  12. Once the picture is displayed if the 'P' key is pressed the picture will be
  13. printed according to your 'preferences'. To exit the program press the
  14. space bar. To send the screen to the back you can press the Amiga-N key
  15. combination, or use the invisible screen gadgets in the upper left corner.
  16. The screen gadgets don't seem to work correctly with OVERSCAN pictures. If
  17. the program is 'RUN' in the background you can print your pictures while
  18. doing something else, and it will take much less memory than printing from
  19. your favorite paint program.

  21. If you type 'ShoPict' at the commnad line with no arguments you will
  22. get some help.

  24. ShoPict has since been improved so that you can save pictures by pressing
  25. the 'S' key and can also write an icon for any picture by pressing the 'I'
  26. key. Saved files are written out to ram:temp.pic.  Wild-card file names are
  27. also supported as is the ability to load pictures from Icons. Be warned
  28. that the picture saving ability is only available if you have a registered
  29. copy. This means that if you re-compile the ShoPict program you will not be
  30. able to save pictures.
