"Zow" (c)1989 by BCS Software
Written by Mike Berro
Freely Distributable, but All Writes Reserved.
This is YASH, Yet Another Screen Hack. It is a by-product of
the development of VTOT: Video Tools On Tap, coming soon to a
dealer near you. VTOT will do screen scaling, as does this.
Zow runs from CLI or Workbench. It performs its weirdness on the
frontmost screen, regardless of that screen's characteristics,
including PAL (hello Europe & Australia!). You need 1 meg CHIP
to use it on a hi-res or ham interlace screen. If you have
insufficient CHIP available, nothing happens.
Zow makes the pointer disappear twice, and then the strangeness
begins. It may take up to ten seconds to start depending on the
screen resolution.
