- XHair replaces the mousepointer by a crosshair. This is useful if you
- want to sort your Icons or do things like that.
-
- XHair uses the arp.library, that's why you have to copy the arp.library
- to your LIBS: directory if you haven't already installed arp.
-
- XHair can be started from workbench by simply doubleclicking it. You'll
- immediately have a crosshair instead of your mousepointer. To ge your
- mousepointer back just start XHair once again.
-
- If you start XHair from CLI, there are some options you can select:
-
- Usage: XHair [HELP] [QUIT] [COL HHH] [OLDPTR]
-
- The arguments have the following meaning:
-
- HELP: Shows the usage and explains the arguments.
-
- QUIT: Signals a already started XHair-task to quit.
-
- COL: After COL you have to type a Hex-number with 3 digits. The 3
- digits represent the red, green and blue portion of the
- crosshair's color. If you select e.g. COL ff0, you'll get a
- yellow crosshair. If you don't select COL HHH the crosshair
- will have the reverse workbench colors, like a windowborder
- does while you resize it.
-
- OLDPTR: If this option is set, your mousepointer won't be removed.
- You'll get a crosshair and a mousepointer. This is neccessary
- if you want to use other screens than the workbench-screen,
- because the crossehair is visible only on the workbench screen.
-
- Gummi and Kreuz are similar to XHair. Their usage is the same as XHair's
- usage. Just start them to see what they do!
-
- Have Fun!
