  4. Enclosed in this archive is version 3.00.00 of AMIGANTT, a simple project
  5. definition and management tool developed for the Amiga (TM).  Please read
  6. through this file and the documentation file before beginning to use the
  7. program.
  8.  
  9. This is the 3rd general release of AmiGantt, available to registered users
  10. and other shareware afficianatoes.  Thanks to Lattice Inc. and their version
  11. 5.0 C compiler, many new features of have been added while maintaining the
  12. size of the program to still less than 100K!  As this is a fairly major
  13. enhancement to the program, I have increased the shareware cost of becoming
  14. a registered user to $20.00  (Hope this doesn't scare anyone off)
  15.  
  16. To those of you who have been waiting for a new release of the program, my
  17. apologies for taking almost 6 months to get version 3.0.00 out the door.
  18. As you will see, the interface has changed quite drastically and it was a real
  19. bearcat getting the graphic printouts to work properly.  My thanks for your
  20. patience.

  32. This program is provided as SHAREWARE.    It may be freely copied and
  33. distributed as long as there is no charge above a nominal fee for media and
  34. copying.  If you find the program useful and would like to be kept on a
  35. mailing list for future enhancements you may become a registered user by
  36. sending your name and address plus $20.00 to the author.  Registered users
  37. may also receive a copy of the source for the program, if they desire, at no
  38. additional cost.

  41. long as all the files in the archive are kept intact.  Permission is also
  42. granted    to Fred Fish to include this version of the software in his Fish
  43. Disks collection.

  46. Notice:
  47. Version 2.01.00 and above of AmiGantt makes use of functions within the
  48. ARP (AmigaDos Replacement Program) library.  This library must be installed
  49. in the LIBS directory of your system disk before attempting to use
  50. AmiGantt 3.00.00.  A copy of arp.library file can be obtained from the 
  51. authors of ARP or from many BBS libraries.

  65. Known Anomolies:
  66.   1.  I'm not real happy with what happens when you resize any of the Gantt,
  67.       Resource or Pert Windows.  They are supposed to refresh themselves
  68.       with a new version of display that fits into the window, but it's not
  69.       currently working properly.
  70.  
  71.   2.  This zoo'ed version of AmiGantt 3.0.0 does not include a special 6-point
  72.       font for use with the PERT chart display.  While the program will work
  73.       without the font, more information will be shown in the PERT task 
  74.       boxes when the font is present.  The Gantt-6 font is available from 
  75.       the author as part of the registered user package.
