  1. Installing Scripit 1.20 in your system:

  3. First, copy the following files to your C: directory:
  4.  
  5.     Scripit
  6.     Recorder
  7.     Xit
  8.     Lister
  9.     AutoScript
  10.     XitLoadWB
  11.  
  12.  
  13. If you also want to use Scripit from the Workbench:
  14.  
  15.     copy Scripit and Scripit.info to wherever you want.
  16.  
  17.  
  18. Next, read the doc files.  You will need to look through both Usage.DOC and
  19. Reference.DOC.
  20.  
  21. The file 'Examples' contains a set of example scripts that can help
  22. you understand how to do some nice little scripts.  Other example
  23. files are planned and will be on their way to you shortly.
  24.  
  25. To try out the demos, unarc DEMOS.ARC and then type:
  26.  
  27.     Scripit CON.demo
  28.     Scripit Win.demo
  29.     Scripit WBGFX.demo
  30.     (for the last demo, make sure that the Workbench screen is visible
  31.      since all output will be there.)
  32.     Scripit plot.script

  34.     Have a look at the demo scripts, they are well commented.
