Elements
--------
©1988 by Paul Thomas Miller
This program is just a part of a larger molecular modeling program I'm
working on as a science fair project, called "CAMM: Computer-Aided
Molecular Modeling." The user-interface algorithms I designed allow more
control over molecular structure entry than previous modeling programs, and
the idea even won first place in an Internation science fair a few years
ago. Those routines were never coded, but now I am totally rewriting CAMM
(calling it CAMM v2.0) and including several new little bells and whistles
in addition to my 3D interface algorithms.
Because of the vast quantity of information about the elements provided
in this additional help screen, I've decided to distribute the elements
module for everyone who wants it to use (college Chemistry students please
take a good look!).
There are three custom fonts required by the program, and three custom
data files. Just copy the fonts into your system fonts directory, or assign
your default fonts device to my fonts directory. The data files must be
located in the DAT: device. You can just assign DAT: to my Data directory,
or any directory that has the data files in it. For atomatic configuring,
CD to the disk that the program is on, and execute the "execute.me" file.
This will do the assigning for you.
NOTE: Any absence of any of these files and the program will abort.
This program is SHAREWARE. Please feel free to copy it and share it with
everyone you know! Just don't charge them for it! If they want to give money
for it then give them my address. If you find this program useful then
please feel free to send me a donation for my efforts. If you send me $5 or
more and a disk I'll throw in the source code and a demo of CAMM v1.0 and
what I have completed of CAMM v2.0. If I make enough going with SHAREWARE
I may just put the finished CAMM v2.0 program into SHAREWARE as well (along
with some other little projects I'm working on.) Look at it this way, you'll
be purging your concience of guilt every time you use this program! In
addition, you'll know that somehow your extra donation will help put me
through college!
I hope you like and use this program. It is my first submission to the
library, and is my first real useful program. Share and Enjoy!

P.S. Running the program with Wicon or MacWin adds some nice effects to all
the window action.
P.P.S. Try typing "Elements shadow" for another neat little effect.
